We wanted to post early the May 2012 events, and classes; on May 7^th through the 12^th we will be in Wyoming hitting the books and taking classes. We will be back May 13; you can call and leave a message, we will be monitoring our phones messages and e-mails constantly while we are away and will reply either by phone or e-mail. Our nephew James will be minding the store so rest assured he will be receiving packages and calling you if you have a package come into the store.

May 19 will be teaching a NRA basic pistol class at the store the address is 6225 McCandlish Rd; seating is limited so call 719-683-2117 or e-mail wildfire223@juno.com no later than 5-16-2012 Wednesday as we will need to know before class to guarantee a space and materials for you. The class starts promptly at 9:00 AM and usually runs 4 to 6 hours depending on questions. This is a hands on class, students will be examining ammunition and firearms, be sure to inform me if you will be bringing your own firearm or if you will need to borrow one for the class, students will also need to bring a box of ammo.

May 26 is a new Tanner Gun show in Loveland CO; I will have an address up-date later.

Well our hunting trip was a success, sure will be good eating. We have two gun shows in April the 21, 22/2012 Tanner in Pueblo at the Pueblo Fair Grounds and April 28, 29/2012 Tanner Denver. We have a few weeks off so come on out I’ll put some coffee on.

NEW ITEMS IN STOCK

Wow, we now have a new line in the store; “US PALM” it is Level III soft body armor, sizes range from small to x-large with prices varying between $200 and $300 depending on style and armors plates. They are designed to wear inconspicuously under clothes and soft to be more comfortable, adjustable two inch shoulder and waist straps – available in tan or black, some have pockets for firearms or magazines.

Come into the store and take a look, try one on.

Wow, it is hard to believe the month is almost over however, we have made a sudden change in our schedule and want to let our customers know we will be closed Wednesday 3/28/2012. We are going hunting, wish us luck.

We just finished a gun show in Garden City KS, boy what a show; we just about sold out of everything. This weekend March 3 & 4 will be at the Gun Shows of the Rockies in Colorado Springs.

March 10 &11 is another Colorado Springs Show the Sertoma, then Tanner on March 17 & 18 in Denver

March 24 & 25 Rick and I will be teaching a class NRA Basic First Step at our shop 6225 McCandlish Rd; If you are interested in taking this class please call 719-683-2117 no later than March 21 to reserve your seat. Then the last weekend in March the 31^st and April 1^st is Colorado Springs Gun Show of the Rockies.

We have started a new service; Parkerizing and Dura Coating firearms, we will do full firearms or just parts.

If you are coming to any of the Gun Shows stop by and say howdy, we always like to visit. Can’t make the Gun Shows and you’re out and about stop on by the store and have a cup of coffee.

Rick and I are teaching a Conceal carry class called the “NRA Basic First step” March 24th, 2012 starting 9:00 AM; if you would like to attend this class please call no later than March 22,2012 to reserve your space; 719-683-2117; this is a 4 to 6 hour class; The majority of the class will be indoors, however some will be outside practicing new learned skills. This is a hands on class so bring your firearm if you do not have one let me know when you reserve your space. I will fill you in on all the particulars when you call.

Shouldn’t Americans Be FURIOUS About Fast & Furious?

I’m furious about Fast & Furious and if you’re not, Why Not?

After reading the article in the monthly NRA magazine “American’s 1st Freedom” the January 12 edition, I pondered many things;

Was I the only one out raged at the crimes committed? I have not seen much news about it in the media. In fact it was dropped like a stinky piece of excrement.

The one question you have to ask is why would ATF personal want to put firearms in the hands of criminals that could knowingly be used against Americans civilians or State law enforcement?

According to the article written by Chris W Cox NRA-ILA Executive Director ATF agents purposely set the stage for background checks of known criminals to be approved and allowed to purchase the firearms.

What purpose would ATF want criminals to have these firearms knowing they would wreck havoc on all who came in contact with them, pity the poor sole that innocently tried to stop them or got in the way; I can envision the present administration sitting in its lofty tower waiting for the most unspeakable thugs to get things heated up with all the new weapons they purchased legally, and when the border states were in turmoil and state law enforcement could not contain the crime that had descended upon their beloved states. I’m quite sure the present administration would not want the world to know their little secret and involvement so with the snap of their fingers and computer all would be quietly erased, all documents of “Fast and Ferrous” would be shredded and burned, the ATF would appear as always the strong defenders of the law, waiting for the present administration to force stricter gun control or remove all gun rights altogether.

I wonder was Arizona targeted for “Fast and Ferrous” because Arizona stood up to the present administration demonstrating states rights on other issues?

I guess that is how I see it, however we would like to know your thoughts, perhaps I missed some important fact or perhaps you have additional information. We would like to hear from you.

If you have not read this article in the America’s 1^st Freedom January 20, 2012 issue. This is a must read to stay vigilant and an informed American Citizen.

Up-Date From Rick & Kathy

We hope everyone had a nice Christmas and a fantastic start to their new year. The gun shows have started up again, we did the Tanner Pueblo show, January 7&8, Saturday was busy but with the football game it was pretty slow Sunday.

This weekend January 14 & 15 we will be at the Sertoma show in Colorado Springs; on Academy and Palmer Park, if you are coming to the show stop by and say howdy, we always like to visit.

If you’re out and about and can’t make it to the gun shows stop on by the store and have a cup of coffee.
